Security configurator / app

Precise. Simple. Effective.

Being on the safe side at all times is often not that easy. With the free app from Brühl, you will always have the testing for safety distances from protective facilities with you in future.
Thanks to the integrated safety distance configurator, you can carry out verification directly on site.

Thanks to the app, your installer can set up the safety fence directly with the correct safety distance and carry out verification by measuring (see EN ISO 14120:2013 7.3).

To do this, he simply enters the relevant protective fencing system, the height of the fence and the existing ground clearence into the program. The correct safety distance to the danger area in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857:2008 is immediately displayed graphically.

The Brühl APP provides you with practical support for risk and hazard assessment in the immediate production environment.

Our experts will be happy to provide you with help and advice if you have any questions.

Step 1: Select protective fencing system

FLEX – Brühl Protective fencing system – opening 20×200 mm or CustomLine Frame – Brühl Protective fencing system – opening 40 x 40 mm

The mesh size setting (opening size) influences the safety distance between the protective fence element and the Danger area.

Step 2: Select ground clearence

175 mm or 20 mm

The ground clearence is shown graphically as the safety distance between the lower edge of the safety fence and the floor/platform.

Step 3: Select the height of the protective device

Grid settings: 1400 – 2600 mm in 200 mm increments

Note that the safety distance to the danger area can be controlled via the height of the protective facilities, i.e. higher protective fences can be used to achieve a smaller safety distance to the danger area for the situation of overreaching, thereby optimizing production areas.
