The SMV is particularly suitable as a highly flexible, adaptable protective facility. It offers a process view and optimum protection thanks to polycarbonate panes or Flex mats.

The entire system is available in pre-assembled standard components. However, the modular designs mean that customer requirements can be met by shortening the width and height of posts, panels and doors individually on site. Assembly is quick and easy. Depending on customer requirements, a mounting rail can be attached above the Flex mat, which is connected to the posts. This offers a profile groove for additional mounting options, similar to the frame panels. The mounting rail reduces the ground clearence of the system from 175 mm to 118 mm.

Posts and doors consist of sturdy 3-groove profiles (groove width 8 mm) that can be used for add-on parts. Only one post is required for the system, which can be used as an inner and outer corner as well as a through or T-joint post. The external dimensions of the post profile are 60 mm x 60 mm. The cut-to-size length is the respective system height. The three-slot profile allows the feet to be fixed in different positions.

Thanks to the modular principle, there are many expansion and replacement options. This means that the SMV can also be variably combined with the Flex system. With just two profiles, all products can be configured with the corresponding accessories in the same way as known aluminium system profiles. It is possible to extend the SMV to a higher safety level (fall protection device in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14122-3).
