The MSST®-PL-F self-supporting sliding gate is an extremely compact sliding gate design without a portal frame. Both the drive unit with geared motor and roller chain as well as the safety switches are completely housed in the gate base. The sliding gates are available with closing direction left and right and with an opening width of up to six meters. Widths of up to 12 meters are possible with two self-supporting sliding gates arranged in opposite directions. With its design without a portal, this door design offers an ideal solution for safeguarding walk-in system stations with crane or manipulator loading.
The main closing edge is protected by an Electric safety edge, which is connected to the main frame via an energy guiding chain. As an option, the rear secondary closing edge can also be equipped with another electrical safety edge.
