The actuator is mechanically guided by the latch bolt when retracting into the safety switches. The BRÜHL-RI® latch system has integrated shutting protection; the latch tongue is brought into the “latch closed” position by a pressure spring without any actuation. Aluminum plugs serve as tamper protection. This system is very robust, requires little maintenance and cleaning and has proven itself in industrial environments for over 30 years. The Brühl-RI® mounting system can be easily combined with type 2 safety switches (with or without solenoid interlock) from the manufacturers Bernstein, Euchner, Honeywell, Leuze electronic, Pilz, Rockwell Automation, Schmersal, Telemecanique Sensors, Sick and Siemens.
