Highly flexible, adaptable Protective Facilities
The SMV is particularly suitable as a highly flexible, adaptable Protective Facilities. It offers a process view and optimum protection thanks to polycarbonate panes or FLEX mats.
The entire system is available in pre-assembled standard components. Thanks to the modular designs, however, customer requirements can be met by individually shortening the width and height of posts, bays and doors on site. Installation is quick and easy. Depending on customer requirements, a mounting rail can be fitted above the FLEX mat and attached to the posts. Like the frame panels, this offers a profile groove for additional mounting options. With the mounting rail, the ground clearence of the system is reduced from 175 mm to 118 mm.
Posts and doors are made of sturdy 3-groove profiles (groove width 8 mm) that can be used for add-on parts. Only one post is required for the system, which can be used as an inner and outer corner, as well as a through or T-joint post. The external dimensions of the mullion profile are 60 mm x 60 mm. The cut-to-size length is the respective system height. The legs can be attached in different positions thanks to the three-groove profile.
Thanks to the modular principle, there are many expansion and replacement options. This means that the SMV can also be variably combined with the FLEX system. With just two profiles, all products can be configured with the corresponding accessories in the same way as familiar aluminium system profiles. The SMV can be upgraded to a higher safety level (Fall protection device in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14122-3).
