Transition phase from Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC to Machinery Regulation 2023/1230/EU
The previously valid Machinery Directive (MRL) 2006/42/EC will be replaced by the new Machinery Regulation (MVO) 2023/1230/EU from 20.01.2027. The MVO is binding from this date.
Transition phase – Declarations of conformity
With immediate effect, our declarations of conformity for protective fence systems are valid for both the MRL and the MVO in the respective validity periods.
The conformity assessment is carried out in accordance with the following legal bases:
- EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Annex II A – valid until 19.01.2027
- EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230/EU, Annex V Part A – valid from 20.01.2027
The relevant standards for the product are still listed in full in the declaration of conformity.
CE marking and conformity
Our protective fence systems meet the applicable legal requirements. As part of a machine, the safety fence is subject to the CE marking requirement and is therefore placed on the market in compliance.
